Welcome

In 1961 the Academy for Educational Development was founded to develop sustainable solutions to the national and worldwide challenges resulting from illiteracy, population growth, malnutrition, poverty and disease. The AED Conference Center furthers the Academy's mission to increase and improve dialogue around critical social issues, particularly in the areas of health, education, youth development and the environment. The Academy is an independent, nonprofit service organization.
